This policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling and refunds work when you book a Service with LHPRO LIMITED. It should be read with our Terms & Conditions. All amounts are in pounds sterling (GBP, £).
1. Free quotes
Requesting a quote is free and places you under no obligation. You enter a contract only when you confirm a booking.
2. Deposits
Where a deposit is required (to reserve a date or order materials) it is stated clearly before you pay and is applied against the final price.
3. Your 14-day right to cancel
As most bookings are arranged by phone, message or our website, you usually have the right to cancel within 14 days of confirming the booking under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. To cancel, tell us in writing within that period.
- If we have not started the work, you receive a full refund.
- If you expressly asked us to start during the 14 days, you may still cancel but must pay for work and materials already provided.
- Once the Service is fully completed within the 14 days with your consent, the 14-day right no longer applies (your workmanship rights still apply).
4. Cancelling or rescheduling outside the 14-day right
- More than 48 hours before the start: cancel or reschedule free; any deposit is refunded or moved to the new date.
- Less than 48 hours before: we may retain a reasonable part of the deposit for the reserved time and any materials ordered.
- No access on the day: a call-out charge may apply.
5. If you are not satisfied
- Tell us within 14 days of completion. Services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill (Consumer Rights Act 2015).
- We will first return and put right any defective workmanship at no extra cost.
- If we cannot put it right within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund for the affected work.
6. How refunds are made
- Approved refunds go to your original payment method.
- Refunds are normally processed within 5–10 working days of approval.
7. What is not refundable
- Work completed to the agreed standard.
- Bespoke or special-order materials that have been cut, fitted or cannot be returned.
- Third-party costs already incurred on your behalf with your authorisation.
