Looking for a handyman for small jobs in London, or what most people still call an odd job man? That is most of what we do. There is no minimum job size and no separate call-out fee on booked work: £80-£100 per hour, agreed before we start and most small jobs are finished in under two hours.

The hardest job to get done in London is the small one. Larger firms want a full day’s work before they will send anyone, so the shelf stays in its box, the tap keeps dripping and the door keeps catching for another six months. We built this service around exactly those jobs, the ten-minute fixes and the two-hour lists that everyone else turns down.

The smartest way to use us is to save your jobs up. Rather than paying a call-out for one task, write down everything that needs doing and book a half or full day. We work straight through the list and the cost per job drops sharply, most customers get eight to twelve things fixed in a single visit.

We tell you honestly whether it is an hourly job or better value as a half or full day.
3
We work the list
One insured handyman, one visit, as many jobs as the time allows.
4
Pay when it’s done
Settle up once you are happy. No call-out fee on booked work.

Not sure it is worth calling out for? It almost certainly is. The jobs people apologise for asking about, a rattling toilet handle, a cupboard door that will not sit straight, a smoke alarm chirping out of reach, are quick, cheap and exactly what we are set up for. Nothing on your list is too small to mention.

We also work with landlords and letting agents on small-repair lists between tenancies, where a dozen minor snags need clearing quickly before a check-in. One visit, one invoice, photos on completion.

Frequently asked questions

Do you really take on small jobs?
Yes, small jobs are the core of what we do, not an afterthought. There is no minimum job size and no separate call-out fee on booked work. If it takes twenty minutes, we will still come and do it and we will tell you honestly if it is cheaper to bundle it with other jobs.
Is there a minimum charge?
We work to a minimum of roughly one hour for a single small job, which covers travel and setup. Beyond that there is no call-out fee. For several jobs, a half-day (£280-£380) or full day (£500-£650) works out considerably cheaper per job.
What is an odd job man?
It is the traditional name for a general handyman who handles the small, varied repairs around a home that do not need a specialist trade, putting up shelves, fixing a dripping tap, easing a sticking door, assembling furniture. That is precisely this service.
Can I give you a list of jobs in one visit?
Yes and it is the best way to use us. Send the whole list and we will book the right amount of time. Most customers get eight to twelve jobs done in a single half or full day, at a much lower cost per job than booking them separately.
What small jobs can’t you do?
Anything requiring certification, gas work and notifiable electrical work such as new circuits, needs a registered engineer. We will tell you straight away if that is the case and can bring in a vetted, certified trade rather than leaving you to find one.
How quickly can you come out?
Most small jobs across London are booked for the same or next day. For urgent problems such as leaks or broken locks we run same-day emergency call-outs from £120.
